A Thousand Words

This week I'm going to do something a little different. There are certain things that just click with me and I guess poetry is one of those things. Whenever I write poetry, it gives me a sense of pride. I feel as if I was a mother letting my child into the world for the first time and having so much joy for that little bundle of joy. It’s another way I can get my thoughts out. It allows me to say and do whatever I want. It doesn't bother me that sometimes I might get stuck. It actually makes me want to write even more.

So let’s get back to what this blog post is about. This week I had an English assignment and it was to create a poem about a certain topic. The topic I picked was “The pains of growing up” and I created a poem about that topic and here it is.

Dark Sky’s
In the past things were kind of easy
Like flying I could do it whenever I wanted
I’d just jump of the highest building in New York and I’d be up, up and away
Up in the Dark Sky’s
Too dark to show who I really was and who I wanted to be
Who was I?
The Skies were so dark I was lost ─ I don’t think of flying anymore
It’s not my fault
They say “With age come maturity”
And with maturity comes no more flying
Only if they knew that at night I still flew
They wouldn’t change me ─ I wouldn’t let them
I flew so high up into the sky that I was gone
Gone from age and maturity and all of the thing
that were going to try to stop me─ from flying
If you wanted I could teach you how to fly
You could fly with me
So when were up In the Dark Sky’s ─ we could help each other out of them
I wouldn’t have to fly alone
We could be side by side
And the Dark Sky’s
Would have to deal with two

What things do you do open up to the world?
What do you do for most of your free time that leaves you at ease?

Am I a Singer?

Are you an artist, rapper, actress,or even a mathematician? You can be whatever you want, at least that’s what they say. Is it true?

Just because they say it is do you think it true? I’m kind of iffy about this topic, I don't really understand it. I just don't understand how good things come to people who don’t try for it and who don't even have the talent.

I know if I try really, really hard at something like juggling, I can get it but even if i did try hard enough I feel like it still wouldnt be given to me. Maybe it’s my looks or my attitude but I feel like those things shouldn't be a reason for a person with talent to get their dreams ripped away from him or her .

I love singing. Although I might not be as good as Beyonce I am on my own person and I know in the future I will get even better, But will things go the way I want them to? Will I not have the chance to be the singer I want to be, because I don't look like a typical singer or am I just thinking too hard?

I know you guys might think I’m bringing myself down, but  I feel like I have to find the meaning of certain things that go on around us. If it’s not me. then who?

What do you wanna be in the future?
Leave a suggestion below for my next post!!!!!!!!:)

Gamer girl

I find it very sad that some people don't understand that girls like video games to. Every time you bring up the topic of playing guys always have something to say about it. If it’s not “You're not better then me” its “You’re a girl.” They have no idea what they got themselves into. These phrases just send  gamer girls’ hearts into a frenzy, and we feel like just ripping these so-called gamers heads off. Although video games are labeled as a boy’s thing to do, we find it to be fun. Its like a challenge we accept every time it’s given to us.

Personally, I'm in love with video games. I just love the way I can be myself whenever I play. Even though I'm not as good as many boy gamers I am happy with my level and I can take you on anytime, anywhere.

I’m standing up for all the girl gamers out there that never get the credit they deserve. We are awesome, and it doesn't matter if the boys can't see it. They're only acting this way because they're afraid we're going to get better than they are, and then the games will belong to us and not them anymore.

What are your favorite video games?

Are you a girl gamer?

How do you feel about gaming?

Where Did We Go Wrong?

Where did we go wrong?

Have you been friends with someone for so long that you already know what they are thinking about? You know every move they're going to make and you know if they're going to change it. Well these so called powers only happen between two people who really trust and believe in one another. They spend a lot of time together and know each other like the back of their hand.

Where did you go wrong?

This is where it all starts, you spend too much time together. How do you know if this person wants you to know their every thought? What if they want that kept to themselves ? How do you think it feels?

Personally I have not really been put into this situation. I do have best friends but I don't really think they know me like the back of their hands, or maybe they do.That's just something you don't really think about on a daily basis. You might know everything about your best friend and not
really show it; it just sticks with you so you're just used to it but really on the inside it’s true friendship. How do you know if your best friends knows you very well?

Are you fine with someone knowing you better than you know yourself?

Do you think it would be a good idea?

INSTA-FAIL

Well hello again my fellow readers

We're here to talk about something all of the teens in the century are obsessed about. You might know what i'm talking about and you also might be puzzled. Well it’s called instagram and this is a social network that most teenagers and typical adults use. Personally I think it has been taken advantage of. I mean I understand that some people like taking pictures but if you put up one hundred pictures in like a minute some people might find that to be kind of weird. it’s as if you have nothing better to do and every second you post another stupid picture of yourself there's just so much of someone you can see.

I don't get it...is it only me or do guys feel the same way?

Like what in the world is a selfie? When did anyone put this in the human dictionary that it is used all the time?I have an instagram and I think it is an awesome sight but there are just certain people that I follow that really grind my gears and all the pictures of themselves or of the awesome way the dog poop on the ground looks.

What do you think about instagram?

Does religion play a big part in your life?

Not to sound all churchy and whatnot but I don't think I would be able to cope with the world if I weren't part of the Catholic religion. There are just some things you can't deal with and that you need to find answers to these problems from a higher power. In my religion we believe the world is created by God and his son was born of the Virgin Mary to help us with sin.

I know that we all don’t practice the same religion and that they might be very different, but there is one thing that they all have in common. People use their religion to answer problems in their lives or in their world. We find answers in our scriptures, which also teach us how we should behave or act.

Why believe in someone you can’t see?

I know it might sound a little weird, but I think it’s better that you can't see God. It makes it easier for you to get along with God and not worry about how He looks or how He sees you. God might be the best-looking person in the world, but that wouldn't matter because God doesn't make judgements about the way you look. He treats us all with the same respect no matter what skin color or race.

What would you change about your religion if you could?

Would you want to be able to see God whenever you went to church?
