What's your favorite part about the holidays?

When we become surrounded by our loved ones our outlook on life changes completely. You end up thinking about all the good times you've had and how much you love them. Well this is completely the opposite in my family. When the holidays come around I just want to hide in a cave and never come out. It makes me feel like the world is about to end and I’m the only person knows about it. When my family gets together it might look like a good thing but it always ends up in the wrong place. Family from out of state who haven't seen you in years treat you like you're one and the family members that you see on a daily basis act like you're their slave. The only person I can trust to not change is my mother.

She is always the one to stop the fights and to make everyone laugh. She always knows the right things to say and that’s what  makes her so special. Everyone can go to her and ask for anything. Although sometimes she might not have what you need you will always leave with some great advice.

My family, there's nothing that can describe them. They might get on my nerves and I might not want to be seen in public with them, there  mines and I'll have to work with it. Who knows , maybe one day when the holidays come around I won't have to hide in a cave and I can just lie on my bed and take a deep breath.
